Mine is an arranged marriage but we know each other since teenage through hear say and met briefly when I was 20 and DH was 28. We had strong liking for each other's personality and when the marriage proposal came in it was green signal from both of us. We live in a modern society where divorce is pretty normal and in fact most of DH's siblings have divorced once or twice. So if we want to divorce we can always do so without the fear of culture or religion. So its not the culture, religion or upbringing that holds us, its the commitment we both have made, its the love we have for each other and now our kids. soon we will be married for 10 years and we are looking forward to celebrate it.

So in my point of view, divorce rates are low in arranged marriages where culture and religion are important, if not it is not much different from love marriages, may be worst than love marriages!
