I have some advice, and I'll try to take some time to search out some resources.
I feel for your wife, really I do. This is a huge change for her and it seems to be taking a physical toll as well as a mental. I get that it bothers you a bit, since she married you not them.
One question. What if it doesn't work out with your job? Then your wife is also miserable and you've lost the benefit of a great job, where will you be? Is it all worth it?
How about searching actively for a support system in the new place - church, clubs, etc.? Also technology tools like Facebook, Twitter and email are wonderful for keeping in contact. Give her as many of these tools as you can to keep her connected to home.
