Most likely they are going to be very upset, probalby more from the secret -than from what you was worried about years ago. Don't know how you pulled this off for years - What is the story there? They must live far away to not get wind of this!

What else can you do but -finally- Let them know, let the chips fall where they may.

Stand together strong.

And just be HONEST- let them know how you Feel, why you did what you did, because of their reaction, or your fear of thier reaction. Hopefully they are forgiving people, but if not, what can you do ? Allow them to help with the planning of the ceremony, Hopefully this will appease them a little for jumping the gun & doing this without their knowledge.
