We alternate between staying at the families. We stay at one house one year and the other the next. Honestly, I hate it.

I would like to spend more holidays alone with my husband, but I guess since we don't have kids people don't see us as a family quite yet.

I guess I shouldn't complain though. At least both sides of the family are really nice and treat us well. I just don't want to wait until I have children (IF we do) to stay home for a year and get our own holiday stuff.
