Holidays stress me out! My family lives in Texas and my husband family lives here (in Louisiana), and I am constantly feeling pressure from my family to be in Texas. We have two young children and my parents don't see them often because of the distance between us . How do other families handle the holidays with children and splitting time with between families? I would like to wake up in my own house for Christmas and enjoy seeing my open their presents. I feel selfish that I just want my family (husband, and kids) with me on Christmas morning.
