I totally agree. My DS18 is very clean cut, baby face but I've let him do his hair as he wishes but told him piercings/tattoos are off limits until he's 18. So far he hasn't but he moved to his dad's and is going to college and working for a drug company and showed up last weekend with black hair (normally blonde/blue eyed) and a mohawk! His dad was livid as his mom just came from England for a visit! My comment was, good luck with the random drug testing at work--you are sure to be 'randomly' chosen each time now! And he said, "yep, you're right, they already did!"
