Desperately needing for advise of wise women and men!!!

Im very glad to have found this interesting forum full of people just like me sometimes happy and sometimes confused. Well It wouldnt be for confused if I hadnt come here! So here is my story..Two years ago I met a guy and we hit it from the very beginning, it was a full beautiful romance full of sweet talks and unforgettable time togethere, we bonded instantly and he felt to be my soulmate. Although it all felt good I had my intuition kicking strong that something was not right..and there it was..I discovered that he was married. He denied it at the beginning but later came clean because I had all the evidence. Later on he said the marriage was not working and it was over a long time ago. Blah blah blah as all the married men talk. But anyway he really got a divorce after a year. So we are together now. Its been two years. And as the time passes by Im considering if I should really get married to this guy..if he cheated on his ex with me wouldnt I be the other one? I know you will all probably say YES. But arent there any stories where people live together after everything??
He married his ex because after 4 months of the relationship there was a baby on the way and it was a right thing to do. She has had another baby from another man before and after marriage he adopted the other baby. He has to pay a huge amount after the divorce for baby sopport now. He says its different with me and he wants to marry be because he loves me and wants to and not because he has to..
I have never been married and dont have kids, and if I marry someone I want it for life. His whole situation scares me but we really do love each other. I am just so confused and dont want to make a mistake....
