your not being stupid, your H emotionally abusing you for his own insecurities. your not lazy. he wants you as the woman at home.
my father used to do the same stuff with me and when my son was 2 (in the copying phase) my father put me down in front of him and i was lucky it didnt sink in, but to be honest i got rid of my father from my life and that of my child.
i couldnt do with the brainwashing and seeing my children grow up on his words.
it was not encouraging.
as for the best friends , thats why i never had one for your reason.
they get to close for comfort.
