I was not discussing pain threshhold. I also very clearly said "in general" several times for emphasis, but of course there are obvious exceptions. Gay men don't count "in general", for example. As far as math, I wasn't talking about grade school arithmetic. Most mathematicians are men, by a wide margin, despite all kinds of affirmative action.
