Found this list on a different forum. Thought it was spot on in many cases

1- If they claim they are "just friends" there is more.
2- If they claim it was an EA its usually a PA.
3- If they say they only kissed. Its usually sex.
4- If they say it was sexual only once. I would times by 2 for the ammount of time spent in it. So if its been 6 months that = 12.
5- If they claim each and every time protection was used. I would believe it was used once. The first and only time. Even then thats a maybe.
6- If they claim its been only going on for a few weeks. Its been going on alot longer.
7- If they tell you that they will stop it on D-day. I think most will have contact afterwards. Be vigilant.
8- If they claim they dont dont why and that your their only love. I dont buy it. They will attempt to continue it underground.
9- If you threaten to tell OP spouse. They will claim he/she is crazy and they could be in danger. Thats usually bull****.
10- If you get the ILYBNILWY line. Believe them and show them the door.
