I LOVE having gardens. For a few years I had a prickly pear cactus garden. three giant vicious cacti, I used special soil, bone meal, water treatment etc. I had a snake plant, some wandering judes, smaller cacti, and one petunia that never died.
petunias are my favorite. When I moved, I planted glads, pink and blue iris, mini rose bushes, purple and pink morning glories, Mediteranian Bells, and something I want to call hydrangea but isn't. I talk to my plants too.
It's just nice to be able to keep something alive with sucess, and it is therapy to dig aggressively at the ground to plant something
