Hmm, I lived through an was evacuted for both the witch creek fire and the cedar fires. Many of my firends and family lost their homes. And sadly the only places that got news coverage was the "rich/coastal" neighborhoods. Yes it's true. My uncle, who is a fire fighter, was fighting the fires during the cedar fires to come home and find out that the CDF had ordered the teams hear to "let it burn"...

Just now, 5 yrs later my uncle has been able to finally get his house completed..

Gah, nevermind...I shouldn't have even started...Sorry..
