 Do you use FaceBook?
Do you have a FB account and frequently use it?
I originally created my account for the games like scrabble. I can play against my friends and family. I also communicate with my daughters and one friend, but that pretty much sums it up.
Since I've switched over to the iPod touch, the FB games are available to apps. I do talk to one online friend I met 10 years ago. We became the best of friends and FB messaging is our only way of communicating.
My husband disabled/deleted his account yesterday. He wasn't really into the whole Facebook deal and got rid of it. He was getting private emails from females which I wasn't too thrilled. I don't mind he has female acquaintances, but when it comes to frequent communication and her passing on her cell number, I wasn't happy. He never took down her number either. I know this because we share a cell phone.
Our Facebook accounts are always open to each other. My husband can read my conversations at any given time. I'm up front and honest with him. I don't think he realized that this other woman was crossing the line. He is telling her there is no more communications between the both of them outside of the swim team. I might sound harsh, but our rules are no frequent friendships of the opposite sex. We agreed to this 12 years ago.
