Yes, I use it. My H uses it. Our family is spread out and it's a great way for the grandparents and aunts, uncles to be able to share the kids growing up since no one ever gets together anymore really, for one reason or another.

I don't communicate with everyone on my friend list, a lot of them are from HS, or college, or former co-workers, or present co-workers or family.

For instance, I have reconnected with almost all of my cousins through FB... And the last time we communicated before FB was probably when I was in my teens or earlier - The whole family had a falling out and it seemed no one ever kept in touch. This way, I can see their babies or just see what they are up to.
