Re: Hubby texting co-worker....
I do agree with Chopblock in that if he's open to you viewing all texts, then that does make things a little better. However, you really can't use that as a determining factor as there could be other texts of which you're unaware. My thinking has become a little more black and white lately, but keep in mind that many affairs begin as friendships. Don't start nagging him because he'll probably retailate if he's even thinking along those lines. I would, however, try to sit down and have a lengthier conversation about why he doesn't want to share his concerns with you. Do you still have open communication with him? If he's keeping you in the loop about his life, he may not really see much of a problem with the texting. However, if he's been distancing himself, you need to ask him why he won't confide in you. Also, is the texting taking away from the time that you two used to have together as a couple? I mean, if you're on the phone or the computer, he may just be bored. If not, tell him that you would really like to work on setting some time aside each day for the two of you to talk and spend time together. If he's placing no value on couple time whatsoever, then there's a problem. No matter what anyone says, you can't have a healthy relationship with someone and not have that open communication with them.
