That's a good explanation and kind of what I suspected. That many women enjoy eye candy, but that alone is not sufficient.

(And compare the paucity of visual thrills for women with the enormous and thriving erotica / romance novel industry. It might be the only sex industry for women that is successful. Interestingly it's very hard for men to get into stories. )

I also understand that women are constantly shown unrealistic images of women. Not all of these are from men -- Cosmo seems to have an airbrushed bikini babe on every cover. So women might find it fun to turn the tables and objectify men.

That's one thing. But what is with the taunting aspect? I couldn't image an ad for Showgirls or Hooters that mentioned your "girlfriend looking fatter". I've never heard any kind of taunt like that by men. They just like to look, no harm intended, and the jealousy it provokes is unintentional and much to their own dismay. Most guys wish their ladies were more understanding in fact.

So why would taunting men and making your guy look "inadequate" be fun for women???
