A woman watching the Magic Mike movie should be no big deal for anyone. IF however, it encourages a number of GNOs where women decide to get into this life style then that would be a negative IMO. This will happen to some extent of course statistically. Wheter it is .001 % or 10 % who can say. If this movie provided such impetus I would suggest the marriage has some issues already.

Strip shows for women are about the physycal interaction of the audience with the strippers so a movie is pretty passive unless it was X rated I suppose. But even then it would not be the same as actually going to a show itself.

I took my wife to see Brides Maids and the audience was heavy with GNO groups expecting something else than what was delivered I suspect. I think we all expected there to be a wild bachelorette scene but it never happened. Maybe Magic Mike delivered on that but I will withhold comment until I actually see it.

We did go to the movies on the 4th and there was a long line for Magic Mike. No guys in the line at all. We saw TED BTW.
