Default Re: Is everyone unhappy?

No you are not the only one happily married, as by my screen name. I am happily married at 41 with four kids. When I answer people's questions it is usually with positive things to do to make the marriage work. I feel you have to work on your marriage. I believe that marriage is sacred, I believe that you have to work on the man and wife part always. I believe that children can make it hard if you let it. I believe that showing affection for one and other and being playful is a daily thing and should continue after you have children. I believe a good sex life is important in a marriage. I believe that going out on dates is important, and communication is the key. I believe that you have to have a good diet, exercise at least 5 times a week, get adequate rest and relaxation for both partners. I believe that any marriage can fail and any marriage can flourish. I think if there is abuse and or addiction in the marriage then you cannot fix it with out intervention, and on that note if you marriage is having problems I think a councelor, therapist or spiritual advisor is the way to go. But that is why I am here because I like to help people and I am very happy in my marriage. I also know that marriages ebb and flow as they go on in months and years. I know the passion also ebbs and flows and I know that stress is something that can hurt your marriage and your health. I hope this answers your questions.
