I hope this question is clear and understandable. I am not the geek so I don't know how to go about it or even if it is possible. The question..."How can I go about checking to see if someone is checking up on me and my internet history?" Need someones input.

get a keylogger.
it will show all activity done on the computer.

Depends on the keylogger. If someone is just clicking on their browser to view history, that wouldn't be detected by a normal keylogger.

What you need is a keylogger that takes screenshots of your computer on a regular basis (like on every mouse click or "enter").

That's about the only way I can think of to check for that, since viewing browser history won't alter anything on the browser.

You can use your browser in Private Browsing mode which won't record website visits or keep a history.

I keep my history cleared because of this very site. But if there was a keylogger on my computer, how can I find that out? Need input!

Most keyloggers should be detected by Anti Virus software as they're a massive security hole.

If you are running Anti Virus software, the simplest way to find one would be to do a complete scan of your PC with your AV software.

However, if a keylogger is going to be running, whoever put it there, setup an exception setup within the Anti Virus software so it doesn't scan or detect the keylogger. It's worth checking your Anti Virus software for exceptions like this.

No Anti Virus is 100% accurate, so I'd suggest using an online service like Trend Micro's housecall in addition to your PC antivirus. These don't require installing and will run from within a browser.

It would be safe to say if she came to this site and read the details of my questions, she would go further underground and all attempts to find the proof positive I want would be a waste of my time. My wife has given me her word with a sound attitude that nothing is going on. She states she loves me and has no plans of ever leaving and does not want me to leave either. With the things I have discussed here, there seems to be a lot of unexplained events. These RED FLAGS, if you will, make no sense to me. This is why I have been quite about things. If she knew about this site, she would know I am getting educated on 'cheating' and how to get proof. And acting as though I have returned to a normal state would prove futile in trying to get to the bottom of all this stuff.
