Default maybe someone can enlighten me

Ok im sure everyone is tired of the whining but I have to ask. It just keeps going through my head, how is it that someone that was supposed to be your best friend can seemingly drop off the face of the earth when their still living with you. I mean we used to talk 3-4 times a day and now he hasnt even picked up the phone in 3 weeks to say jack. Yes I know he has made it clear he now longer wants the relationship but how does someone just cut their feelings off like that. It just dumbfounds me and sort of gives me the impression that I just wasnt that big of a deal in his life. WOW thats something and it really STINGS. Talk about trust issues. Like I said Im obsessing big time.

Has he had a total personality change? How old is he? Could he be going through midlife crisis? I know it doesn't help even to know that he is, but sure might be the answer. I was where you were. Its called withdrawl on his part. Better to escape and not face the mess he created.

Hes 45 and yeah its withdraw alright, I just dont see how something can happen that fast. but when we talked about it he said, and ive said this before that is was just like a whole bunch of stuff built up and built up and then collapsed as far as I was concerned. Doesnt seem to have any effect on his relationship with kids.
