Default Why do PPL usually cheat with someone close?
Why is it that most stories you here about people are cheating with a close friend of there spouse or someone just way to close to home. Dont they get that ONE they will be caught and TWO when they do its going to KILL the other person.

It's the Propinquity Effect at work.

Though you are quite correct about the likelihood of things being uncovered. Hence the The 50-Mile Rule

Usually you do like them in that way. At least in the moment. As soon as the moment passes, you may revert back to disliking them.
