Default a little humor

I met with a counselor for the first time a few days ago, and one of the things that happened has had me chuckling since. She mentioned the possibility of a "trial separation" as something to think about down the road, and said it could be something like, live apart, and you both date (others as well as each others, if that's the agreed upon plan), and then after an agreed upon time, like 3 months . . . and I'm thinking THREE MONTHS? You expect me to get a date in three months? I'm 50 and have 2 kids at home; they are not exactly lining up at the door!! So I told her that.

It's funny to me, but also reassured me that I'm not harboring some type of unrealistic expectation about how much "fun" I'll have if I become single again.

Just thought I'd add a little something that brightens my day.
