Hey come on, we have gardens up north too, the sun shines for a good two or three weeks a year up here! Plenty of time for the plants to get big enough to feed the rabbits and deer! You should have seen the nice thistle and Golden Rod garden I had last year, this year I'm gonna try and throw in some burdock, I just need to figure out how to can the burr's! I'll have to ask my neighbor Mrs.P, she's a good old southern gal, 78 years old and could probably out work my 15 year old boy.
And just so you two know, I actually had a date Sunday evening. A very nice, decent woman, smart, interesting and easy to talk too. She even sent me an e-mail and told me she had a great time and hopes we can get together again! Slap me in the face and wake me up, maybe the world isn't full of fruit cakes!
Congrats on the date coop! I bet that email was an ego boost for sure. Haven't seen countrygirl posting here lately, she must be working in the fields trying to grow some melons or something lol.

I'm here now. Got tied up on one of the other threads-- you know one of those threads on "cheating". Nothing like beating a dead horse.lol I believe Cooper has been busy there too.
Yep, we're going to have field peas and snap beans. We're running behind this year. Had to replant due to the rain and flooding a few weeks earlier.
I met my date on POF, this was the second lady I have gone out with after meeting on that site. The first date was a 48 year old in crisis. Hates her house, her job, can't wait for the kids to move out, is so fed up with her life she is even trying to give her dogs away! Pets she has had for six years or so, how can you do that? We were not a match and I suspected that before meeting but I went just for the exercise.
The gal I just went out with seems to be a great person, our lives are pretty parallel, and we seem to think alike on a bunch of different subjects. Not that I'm looking to get married this weekend or anything but it was nice to fall into an easy conversation with someone. So keep your hopes up there, are decent, normal people out there.
And yes, I have spent a lot of time on the infidelity forum this past year, having that outlet helped me through some very dark days. Sorry to hear you have been there as well, this forum is much more fun.

Thanks for making me laugh, Cooper! So, what is her purpose on the dating sites? To find someone just as miserable --to spend quality time together. lol Glad the second lady was a much better match. Will you be asking her out again? I'll keep my eyes open. Maybe my luck will improve too. Otherwise I'll just stick with my horses, cats, and dogs. They are always glad to see me and they never cheat and lie.
You must be south of me countrygirl, thats where most of the flooding occured I believe. Good luck with the garden, I wish I had the energy to put effort into something other than figuring my wife out. You gals can sure make a man crazy!

I'm laughing now.....I don't have the energy or time to put into a garden either. Fortunately, my family has a very large (commercial) garden and they take care of me. All I have to do is pick the stuff. They feel sorry for me having to spend my time trying to figure out my estranged husband. You know you guys can sure make a woman crazy! lol
Yes, I am south of you. We got the heavy rain while ya'll got bad wind and tornados. At least that's what some friends near Banks & Troy said.
Have a nice evening trying to figure the wife out.....
Country girl you are so right about the animals, I can stand in her stall and Patches will keep nosing my hand until I scratch her neck, I can lay in the grass and have five cats crawl all over me, I can come back into the house after being outside for five minutes and my dog is so happy to see me you would think I was gone for a month. That is unconditional love, I do not think people are capable of such love, we have to many expectations.
You guys are so right. Animals really know how to express unconditional love. Us humans could take some lessons from the animal world. I chuckle every time I think of my favorite horse. The horse outlasted my marriage by six years. And she never caused a fraction of the grief the estranged husband did. Heck, she even gave awesome back massages! It was a very sad day when I had to have her euthanized. She still loved me to the end. We said our goodbyes for she also knew her journey was over. She gave that one last nuzzle and a very soft whinny as she entered her final sleep. We had 30 wonderful years together. Unconditional love is a great thing to experience!
