my husband and i got a car together, i was orginally for me i had not had a car in over a year, then suddenly after we got he started making coments bout how i wasnt paying for it, its not mine, even though i picked it out; after a few months of this i was fed up. yesterday i asked him bout getting a cheap car and paying for and he flipped even though this entire time he said the car was his. He said i was screwing him by wanting another car. Am I?

no, he is being controlling by making those types of comments. nothing wrong with you wanting a little independence (which is really what this is about, not the car). if he has a problem with that, he should back off on the comments.
