Hi everyone

I was wondering whether couples should love each other more when they see each other or when they are not around, say at work or on a trip. Some people say that if you really love someone, your love would become more affectionate when you see him/her.

I would really like to know what you think.

You see, I'm having troubles with my real feelings. I've come to some problems with my husband and don't know whether I really love him or do I just love to love as the people around me tell me. When he is not around for sometime I really miss him and feel that my heart really aches for him but when he does call or I see him I am filled with anger again. Is this really normal?

I think I love him equally whether he's here or not. He's an otr truck driver, so he's often gone. I know I show more physical affection when he's here, simply by the fact that it can't be done when he's gone. And of course, I miss him like crazy when he's gone. But I think my level of love for him remains the same whether he's here or on the road.

i love my H more when he is around. Occasionally i'll really miss him if im having a bad day, but usually if he's not around i dont feel it as much.

i think you love your guy more when he's not around because you love the idea of him. when he is around you're confronted with the reality of your situation. naturally that pisses you off. all anger is just pain though. you're really hurt.

This is interesting b/c it is possible to love them more? I guess since I don't love my husband I would like to hear what other people say. The case with me is that since I don't love him, when he isn't around I am happier. When he IS around, I am irritated and annoyed.

I love my husband the same..whether he is around or not around. I miss him when he is gone though...badly

When things are good with my wife, there's no difference wether Im around her or not. Neither time does love feel stronger or weaker for her.
