Default Sharing this site w/ spouse?

This is such a great site; everyone has been very kind and supportive of me, and each other, from all the posts that I've been reading.

Has anyone ever shared the site with their spouse, especially if you are not getting along or are working on things together? I think my husband would get a lot out of many of the topics and discussion. I'm not using my real name, but he'd be able to tell who I was in half a second by the things I've written. I'm not sure - would it be a bad thing to share the site, or should I keep this as my support site/group?

I share this site with my wife but she doesn't have her own log in but rather reads much of what I put up for advise and often plays devils advocate with anything I might post.

As for ou keep it to yourself, unless you think the two of you can be brought together by a he said, she said thread.

my husband reads the posts sometimes but i actually regret telling him about the site. im not ready to tell him the things i write on here and now i dont feel free to write what i want. personally i think if you are having problems with your spouse then keep the site to yourself so you can feel free to write whatever you want.

My wife found this site. We have been having communication problems, and I had asked her to find other outlets to work on her ability to express herself (she isn't open to counseling). Unfortunately, she tends to just lurk now, and I post. I desire to have us both post, but at this point it does not happen. I hope that sometime in the not to distant future that will happen.

I think having both here posting, and getting both points of view for other's to see could be very helpful. I would love to see a thread with both husband and wife working through a problem with other's input.

It would be nice if couples having issues could use this site the same way but to many people are immature and use what is said in honesty here against their spouse.

I have had something I said early on here used against me. I will disagree that it is immature to do so. People can take things said in very different ways.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will keep it to myself. Then I'll feel freer to say what I want. Of course, he could already be reading this (hi honey! ) in which case, oh well.

For me this is my small heaven. I can say anything freely here and get advice without the judging eyes. And to make it worse my husband doesnt believe in counselling leave alone ''telling the whole world'' about our problems. I think he would be furious if he found out i was on this forum

The forum has been a great outlet for me to share ideas and get support. I have not shared the fact that I post here with my wife and don’t expect I ever will. Sometimes spouses need “away” time to help sort things out.
