I wish my wife were actively participating in a support group like this so she may get some other perspective from other women and even opinions from other men. This site helps me alot, I think it would help her.

I know my wife would benefit from her being on one of these sites. I don't want to recommend, because I think its weird. I mean I only found this place because I wanted a place to talk and question things and get positive honest feedback.

Since I have been using this site I have learned so much and have had a place to vent some frustrations I have. Its wonderful.

Does anyone on here have a spouse that uses a support group too?

My SO and I both post on here. Actually, there are a few couples that do.

Another good support site, that is very similar to this one is midlifecrisisforum.com I'd recommend it to anyone. You could recommend it to W, then you'd both have similar support, not at odds with one site saying one thing, and the other advising the opposite.

My husband isn't on anything internet based, but he attends a 12 step group for sex addicts which he finds extremely helpful. I wouldn't invite him here (or anywhere else on the internet) because he has a self imposed ban on anything remotely like social networking.

I have asked my H and he said no cause he is too embarrassed to discuss personal stuff. I told him how helpful I found it and that he would probably see others with similar problems and he won't feel crazy like I did.

So to thoses whose spouses post on here. How does that work? Reading eachother's posts? Reading the issues your spouse posts and so on?

I just think that this place has given me so much perspective, and that it would probably do the same for my wife.

My wife is a member here and posted a little for a while. She wound up here after I told her about it and encouraged her. I ultimately don't think it really did that much for her. I think if you lead someone here they're likely to not see the benefit. If a person finds this place on their own they are obviously seeking it out and receptive to it. If they are led here they're more likely to not get into it. Kind of like going with your friend to their therapy group because the told you how great it was - it likely wont mean the same thing to you and may even appear a little weird.



No but is a major source of members for them... Made me laugh
