Yesterday I was listening to Laura Ingram on her radio show. She had the president and founder of ****** *******. ****** ******* is a web site specializing in extra marital affairs.

Anyway, Ms. Ingram was ripping this guy a new a hole for being in the business of adultery. I thought Ms Ingram went over board with this guy.

I never had an affair and will always try to remain faithful. My attitude is indifferent towards this type of business. Adultery is not illegal so who cares. Gambling and other addictions are not illegal and they are widespread and do create big problems in many marriages. So, should Laura Ingram have some of the state lottery reps on air and give them holy hell. I see poor people spend their last dollar on scratch tickets. The do not have the money to buy food for their children. This is state sponsored.

My point is; people are going to mis behave, so if this guy wants to make a couple bucks off it so what? It does not effect my life or my marriage.

I agree with you for the most part because I don't believe the government should have much control over our personal lives. I will say it's her show and he came on there more than likely knowing she was going to rip him. I'm sure someone smart told him that there is a positive for him being on the show.

I feel people are going to make the decisions they make be them good or bad.

I live in a state where the liquor stores are state run as well as the lotto. Putting things out there like gambling establishments, liquor stores or businesses that deal in adultery is not going to make people more likely to engage in such things. If you’re going to be an adulterer then you’re going to be an adulterer regardless of how many businesses there are out there that support or even encourage adultery.

It all boils down to, we are all responsible for our own actions and for the decisions we make. And in the end we have the final say, we ultimately are the ones who make the decision. We all have choices and it is what’s inside of us that determines whether we make good decisions or bad ones.

I agree. She is on after a financial talk show so sometimes she catches my attention. She thinks she is the moral police. Typical rich celeb with all the answers.

I do have a problem with someone making money out of something that has the ability to break up families and cause pain to anyone though. So I guess I'd put the business of making money out of adultery into the same basket as I would drug, alcohol and gambling abuse.

If your government isn't doing enough to deal the problems of alcohol and gambling abuse - what are you doing to make a difference? Or don't they affect you directly either, so you'll just do nothing?

I think the concept and the site is disgusting, and definitely an evil concept. But the guy has a right to make his own moral (or immoral) choices on how he lives his life and conducts his business. So I'm not going to sit on a high horse and say he should be restricted from doing it. It's not illegal, so he's not doing anything legally wrong.

I believe God has given us all the freedom to make choices in our lives, that's part of the whole experience of this journey and test of living the life he has given you. What you choose to do with it is up to you, but your actions will carry due consequences in the end. People who want to use this site are making a choice with consequences, just as people who choose not to use the site will also be rewarded for making a good moral decision.

This is a free country and the government has no business acting as a moral police. On the other hand, this is a free country and there is nothing wrong with a radio host expressing their moral outrage at a site that makes cheating easy; that site has hurt many families (yes including children).
