General Relationship DiscussionAlthough anyone can post anywhere on Talk About Marriage, this section is for people interested in general relationship and marriage advice.
I didn't want to hijack the Top Gear thread with this, but it seems we have quite a few gearheads on the forum
So, what are your mechanical loves or dreams?
I have a 2008 Saturn Sky Redline. What a cool little car. Of course, it's been modified with a tune, suspension goodies and new wheels.
My next project is a cruiser motorcycle.
Mine is my 1985 AMC Eagle LTD (don't laugh) lol :P
I love that car, it has been versatile for off-roading, commuting, camping and whatever in-between. Someday I hope to have enough money to rebuild the transmission, so for now it's a glorified lawn ornament. :sigh: Posted via Mobile Device
A family relative had a small fleet of 61 and 62 chevy pickups. I bought a 62 stepside and fixed it up during summer breaks in college. It looked like new after I was finished. Drove it for years until I had to sell it because my young daughter had an experimental operation. I plan to try to find another one soon, after the kids are out of college.
I work in advance engineering, or very early development of new automotive designs. I like the old classic models, as is. I've helped friends with an old impala, even a rambler, and recently helped a friend completely restore an old DeLorean.

OK, you screwed up, it happens. Now apologize. But apologize just once. Make it loud, clear, short, to the point, and directly to those you trespassed against. Then move on.
Not by a long shot. The guy who owned it was more rotund. I work in a group where we all help each other on car projects. This guy owns the shop we use.

I had a '62 Fleetside shortbed in high school.
I later got a '65 longbed.
I am always on the lookout for '60-'66 Chevy pickups. That was the best body style ever.

Even after the indignity of seeing a 63 Chevy pickup used in the Twilight movie, I continued to plan for the day when I'd buy another. Currently college tuition for two kids makes this impractical.

Thankfully, I have not seen any of the "Twilight Saga", therefore still have my man card. I am always looking for a '64-66, though. It would be project number three, but if I found one for the right price, I'd probably buy it and sit on it until I was ready to begin.
My next move is a Sabertooth motorcycle. Check that bad boy out.
