Fuse,

Way to go!

I'd give her her clothes and that's about it if I were you.

Other than that, if you have the legal right, I'd either sell or donate the balace of her stuff that reminds you of her to charity and take a tax write off on the value!

Better yet, donate it in her name and send her a letter acknowledging her generous donation (a lot of charities in the US usually send notes like this, especially if you ask!)

Well that's the thing about fantasies, they aren't any fun without the accessories. And someone else footing the bill.

I have been following this thread from top to bottom and have found it to be extremely informative. It is very unfortunate that Fuse has had to go through all this. Narcissism + low self esteem is a recipe for infidelity. An eager hollywood producer can take this thread and make a Lifetime movie out of it with fictional characters and receive excellent ratings. There are no winners here but strength in character for Fuse can be a positive result.

haha a movie script of my life would certainly be a seller with the ups and downs, maybe I should write it.

I'd classify that an unhealthy addiction.

It almost reminds me of serial killers, then my train of thought brings me to Hannibal Lecter speaking to Clarice Starling in Silence of the Lambs. Where the first victim is someone he knows... Then he finds out how easy it is to do something that he used to think of as forbidden... Or whatever.

Another bit I'd throw in from my earliest counseling, cheaters will ask their loyal partners a lot if they (loyal partner) are cheating. That's because the cheater knows how easy it is to cheat.

Be careful of your STBXW. She will become spiteful when start taking away stuff you gave her.

No truer word than that!

Me and a pal just went and did the rounds in the area he lives, the address I was given was correct, her car was there. So now I can have it lifted

It was tough to see her car there, but again, its just another step in the path to closure, and also another piece in the "I just cant believe what shes given up".

As I have said before, I will take solace in the fact that its going to get tough for her very quickly, and that this, right now, is temporary happiness at its best!
Hey, fuserleer, why don't you go to that pawn shop and get the rings back?

No idea which one it is, though I could do the rounds I guess.

Having some good fun at the moment guys, since last Thursday when I found those emails Ive been getting some good interaction with ladies, and building my confidence.

Don't think it will be too long until I'm all ok again, don't think about her that much atm, which is good, sleeping better. Road to recovery and all that

Hey folks, haven't been on here for a while and got a PM notification today by email and saw there was a few from various folks asking how I was getting on which I thought was real nice

I'm doing fine, we've been split for just over 3 months now, and my life is getting back in order. I can't say the same for her's however, from what I hear shes in hell...still with this guy, but not doing too well, which is excellent

There was a period where I was getting a LOT of contact from me STBXW, requesting to come and "collect" trivial things, making excuses of why she needed to come around. I either ignored, or flat out refused all attempts, as they were clearly just for some kind of mind games, or an attempt to wriggle back into an easy life. This stopped after repeatedly being kicked to the kerb over the course of a few weeks.

Divorce is going through, I've had to make some tough choices to cover myself as it turns out UK marriage law doesn't officially recognize pre-nups, but they are taken into consideration and looked upon favorably (so anyone doing a prenup in the UK, BEWARE!!). Bottom line is she'll squeeze a few grand out of me max, which is a win considering my assets

Myself, the businesses suffered massively, I had to fold one, but fortunately there was no major repercussions for staff as they were contract and only 3 of them, the other is JUST about holding up.

I've recently started seeing a new lady friend, she ticks all the right boxes, is independent, motivated, has a good head and most importantly has a JOB! She's maybe a little on the younger side of what I would be comfortable with, but she's very into me, and vice-versa so sod it

So thank you to those that checked up on me, and for all the advice I received, it helped a great deal.

Hope everyone else is well

Good to hear you're done with that drama, Fuse. Bully for you.
