I could not get married to my lover since his parents refused to accept an intercaste marriage.

So, we broke 2 years ago.

He was forced to marry. A year and a half into the marriage, he's not able to make it work. He was forced to sleep with his wife by his family and now has a 3 month old baby.

His wife does not talk to him or his parents. But just stays at his house because of the baby. He's planning to divorce.

I have not been able to forget him how much ever I tried. I have refused to marry. He is 41 and am 32.

We meet frequently at work. I could guess he's unhappy and I pried out all this information. He cried in my arms.

Is it ok to wait for him to complete the divorce and marry him?

Anyway, legal processes apart, am looking for a reply / suggestions on the emotional part of decision making.

If it is legal and you trust that he will go through with it then sure, wait for him if you want.

If you have feeling to each-other you may wait until he divorces. But make sure he really wants to marry you. Two years may change things so be careful.
