So really every week might be a bit much. Usually I talk to my mom, either by text or phone daily.. but right now she's accusing me of being mad at her.. but I've sent her two texts in two days.. still nothing. She'll call me the next time she wants the twins and blame it on her phone not getting texts. My dad.. well, I guess I got in the habit of touching base every week when he survived his cancer treatment over a decade ago.. I might call tonight.. I don't think he's doing real well

Call Mom once twice a week for a half hour each or so.

I must be an excessive girl then....

I talk to someone in my family probably every day. My sister and I usually G-chat a couple of times a week, or text if it's in the evenings. My dad and I text/email/chat a couple of times a week. They're both out of state. My mom and stepdad live about an hour and a half away. Since he got sick, I see them at least once a month and usually every other week to help them out. Then check in every other day or so in between.

Of course, that doesn't include random Facebook posts with them or with my extended family.

I've always been really close to my family though and technology definitely makes it easier to share the random things through our day instead of having to find a time for a big catch up every so often.

everyone in my family has passed on,except for a sister that lives a couple miles away,she has extreme control issues towards me, don't have a clue why.haven't spoken in years
