I have lurked here for quite a while, but finally registered. I don't wanna make anyone angry and if this is against the rules please do't ban me, just let me know and you can remove this.

anyways let me fill you guys in:

My wife and I have been married for almost ten years. Our anniversary is 08/09/2003. We have been very blessed to have had a great relationship. We have had plenty of ups and downs, it took us 5 and a half years to finally get pregnant ( our Sarah just turned four this past Veterans Day "11/11") and that was very stressful on us emotionally. We had our share of financial issues because my wife has Lupus and a very severe spinal condition which causes fusion of her vertabrae which means she had to stop working (that's actually what brought me to this site originally 3 years ago). Right now, though we are in a great place as far as our marriage goes and are just as much in love as we were when we met. When we got married we agreed that every ten years we would renew our vows and have a big reception to celebrate with our family and friends. That will be happening this August!!!! Recently we were dealt a very rough hand, and I can't believe how well my wife is handling it. We started renting a house 2 years ago and we loved it. little farm house on 12 acres. It was beautiful. Never had a problem , but we never met our actual landlord. We always paid his aunt the rent because he lived out of state. Well my daughter started pre-school this fall. One day they sent home a lead test to test the lead levels in our home. We followed the instructions and sent the samples to get tested. A week or so later we got a letter stating the lead levels were dangerously high, and to immediately contact the EPA as well as get our daughter to the Doctor to be tested. She tested high, but not life-threatening, however he did tell us to get out of the house immediately. The Epa then told us the landlord needed to fix the issue or we had to move ad he could not rent to anyone with a child under 6 years old. We had to hastily pack and move in with my wifes mother. 3 weeks go by and no word from landlord. I finally get in touch and tell his aunt we are just going to move and she said she had someone "clean" the house out for us. Well, clean the house meant STEAL EVERYTHING WE OWNED woth a dime. Our computers, laptops, daughters toys, my fly tying gear, my wifes jewelry (including her engagement ring). We reported it to the police but have no proof, so until they find our stuff we are outta luck. They eventook my daughters toys/clothes that they couldn't sell and burned them in a big pile in the backyard. We wil be fine, It's all material things and I have a decent job and good friends as well as an amazing and supportive family who have been very helpful.

Why did I post all of that? Well, a local jewelry store is currently giving away a 1/2 carat diamond ring. I know it will not replace her original engagement ring, but it would be nice to have for our vow renewal in August. If anyone here has a facebook and would like to help her win this all you have to do is go to www.facebook.com/yourjewlrybox and click "like" on the comment from Shannon Stotler. Her post time is the best way to search (Sunday at 6:49 pm eastern standard time). The person whose comment with the most likes wins.

Once again, if this is considered soliciting (i read the rules, but idk how it may be interpreted) please just let me know and remove, if not, I would really appreciate your help. It would make my wife so happy and a happy Mrs. Stotler is a happy misterstotler.

Thank you,

misterstotler
