I'm Back!

So some of you might remember me. I'm the Marine Corps D.I in San Diego who's wife is always going to N.C. Well nothing has changed! I have tried doing everything I possibly could to keep her happy but I continue to work long hours which means she gets bored! She is N.C now and is already planning to go back in September when she comes back actually now she doesn't even know if she is going to come back because she says I'm to controling since I never want her to go to N.C. That would be the 4th time that she has traveled across the country this year to visit her family and zero times that we have visited my family (my family lives 4 hours away here in cali!) Should I prepare for the worse now? I really need to go have some drinks tonight and get out of this house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How the heck do you afford four trips to NC? Wow, she must be building frequent flier miles!

ask her if there's someone besides family she's going there to visit...

Just out of curiosity.

You're not controlling her. You're simply asking her to stick around for a minute...4 trips in 6 months wow. I haven't been to FL to see my famdamily in almost 7 years. I need to catch up!

Have you been able to sit & talk with her? She's got some serious problems if she feels she has to travel all the way across country. And to see her family. That's very childish and immature. Will she seek counseling?

It's not the seeing the family thing that's throwing me off. It's the frequency that I'm having an issue with. Why must she see them so often and why does her happiness seem contingent on seeing them? Why is she not happy seeing them once maybe twice a year?

Follow her to NC or have a private detective track her since you know exactly when she will be traveling. Get what you need to now if it is is what you THINK it is - present her with papers for seperation when she returns home from the next trip to NC

I don't mean to sound pessimistic, but if she is not trying to build a life with you where you are .. she has met someone else closer to her family that she wants to be with. I hope that I am wrong, but is sure sounds that way to me... Let us know how it goes!
