It certainly sounds like your husband has trouble dealing with peer pressure. You said his boss payed for a lap dance for him? It's awfully hard to buck your fellow employees, much less your boss. If he went with them in a limo he was without wheels. True, he could have called you, but was probably afraid he'd get ridiculed that he was henpecked or whipped. I don't mean to sound like I am condoning what he did, just trying to see your hubby's point. I think it's time to have a frank discussion with your hubby, and tell him it's time to hash this all out. Is there another company your husband could apply at? Perhaps he could find another that isn't run by an immature boss. I'd lay out exactly what I thought about this, and tell him it's time to change. So I don't think it's over; it needs a change of direction.

It sounds to me that the route to his bad judgement is from alcohol which maybe a problem. Ask him to go to an AA meeting. It is a sobering experience of what people lose because of alcohol and just how they learn it all to late.

What man is going to go to a strip club with the guys and sit at the bar and not look or participate, much less call his wife to come get him?? I mean come on, that's so unrealistic it's not even funny... his man card would have evaporated in his pocket before it could even be taken from him!! What he should have done was call you before they went there and ask you to come along, that's where he went wrong. Here's a thought... offer to take him to a strip club, buy him a lap dance (and perhaps one for you as well) then take him home and reap the benefits. Porn and adult entertainment can certainly work to the benefit in a relationship. You obviously have a decent amount of trust in your relationship if he was open enough to tell you that he went. Kudos to that!! Now work it to your advantage!! =)

As I explained your story to my husband I realized how blatantly you contradicted yourself.
"I just wanted to veg-out in the hotel room while he was in mtgs."
"I told him not to worry about me, I did not come to hinder him, just to get a few days away."
"I had come to spend some quality time with him away from home and he does this."
