|  Hi there, Married abroad query
Hi there,
I am a UK citizen, and married an American girl on October 8th, 2009, in the United States. I was wondering how I would go about making my government aware, and I realised I had no idea how to go about doing this. On one of the websites I found, it gives an application form, which I've downloaded, but then has a seperate section stating that if you married a US citizen, you need one particular form. I believe I have this form, but am unsure if I needed to do the application form and send my passport as well.
If anyone knows what a UK citizen would do upon marrying a US citizen in the US I'd really appreciate it.
