I remember how to wear them, don't want to swim in it. But gee, it looks like its going to be a chemistry experiment. I thought this would be easy. LOL. I'm not going to take her for it. I know that may be taking a chance she might not like it. But that's the kick about it. I want it for a get-a-way week end. Got a dinner and a show planned.
Thanks for the many suggestions and info. Got my note book and off to Lord and Taylor. Can't wait for the look on the counter person's face. Posted via Mobile Device
Cologne is weird though. You have to actually get one that smells good ON YOU. Go try some out. Everyone's body acts different to the same cologne. What smells good on one man may stink on you.
Totally agree with this. My own personal experience, too -- I have a really strong 'instant headache' reaction to sandalwood, which is in a lot of fragrances. It's not easy for people to just buy something for me. I'd go hit the department stores and try some testers.
STBXH wears Signature by Kenneth Cole. It's a really nice scent.
And don't forget to consider that a cologne may clash with an anti-perspirant/deodorant you wear, unless you use an unscented one.
Light Blue - I have nearly accidentally purchased the women's fragrance for hubs a few times now. It smells good, refreshing.
If men want to smell good for women, maybe there should be a cologne that smells like dark chocolate. It'd work for me ....although my favorite scent is his own natural smell. I love to nuzzle into his neck and inhale. Intoxicating.
okay I looked up the aromas...coffee, cedar, cinnamon, patchouli (which I love), lemon etc. I will check this out. I'm not a coffee drinker but I do like the aroma. Being combined with cinnamon and such, sounds good.
I've never been into cologne, but M uses a deodorant that makes me want to jump him (not Axe- BLEEEECH- but I can't remember the brand). Also, there are some people who use a laundry detergent or fabric softener or something and I *love* how it smells. I'm always too chickensh!t to ask what it is though.
