- Just the guy next door who dearly loves his wife and always thought things were fine. I found some signs, red flags and noticed it looked as though 'she' was having an affair. The counselor says it is all substantial evidence, but my God, that gut feeling is the worse! Then, the counselor says I exhibit signs of paranoia because I believe she had an affair. I am not paranoid, nor do I imagine things. I know what I saw, the red flags, and nothing can ever change my mind. Do not let anyone compromise your status and convince you that you are imagining things... especially the cheating spouse who wants their cake and eat it, too! Ben Connedfussed!
