Vovoid, How are you doing now? I read your thread. It sounds like me & I'm a woman. I was rearended & suffered severe head injury that I ca't work any longer. I'm 51 now & for the last 4.3 years I have lost all my friends, lost my job, laid out in semi coma status for 2 years called a closed head injury. I know why I drank in one of my phases,
1. Your brain has a happy center & you can manipulate it to feel good.
2. Your not happy & drink way too much in one evening.
3. You actually are not happy with yourself.
since I went thru these phases, My first phase was to try & sit up 5-10 minutes in a chair & get arout of bed!
the next phase was to do more & that's when I went to my wine.
With all my meds alcohol is very bad for me since I got seizures from the accident! Alcohol hits me faster than a torpedo & I don't realize how much I had & I didn't even care.
