What Are God's Reasons For 2 People Getting Married?
Without trying to chat about popular ideas in our culture for two people getting married, let's identify what are God's reasons from Scripture for couples to be wed.
And to create a bond between a man and a woman in order to complete them. Society has has now tainted the institution of marriage with no-fault divorces in every state. It's no longer for better or worse or til death do us part. It is now until I get tired or until someone better comes along. It's easier to get out of a marriage now than it is to get out of a car loan. Everyone now chooses the easy way out. Posted via Mobile Device

There is no Scripture which says marriage is meant by God to "create a bond between a man and a woman in order to complete them."
The "Marriage Completeness" theory is not in The Bible. Try again.

Anybody know Heinlein?
"History does not record anywhere at any time a religion that has any rational basis. Religion is a crutch for people not strong enough to stand up to the unknown without help. But, like dandruff, most people do have a religion and spend time and money on it and seem to derive considerable pleasure from fiddling with it."

Anyone notice I am an atheist?
Lol. You will remain an atheist until one moment after your death.

Genesis 2:20-24. Notice the words in 'help meet' and 'one flesh'. He needed a help meet because there were things he could not do by himself. They were to become one flesh because neither was complete without the other. Posted via Mobile Device

Notice there is nothing in the Genesis text which speaks about the word "completeness." Try not to add your ideas to the pure Word of God.
Apostle Paul gave specific reasons for Believers to marry. Do you know what those reasons are?
(Hint: one of the reasons was that the guy could not keep his hands off of the woman. Lol.)
Are you looking for the "Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior"
Most people just throw that out for wives should 'obey' their husbands without following with its partnering verse of "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her"
Christ leads by example, which is how a husband should lead his wife in the ways of the church. Christ sacrificed himself for the members of his church.
My pastor said that basically what this means is - If a husband loves his wife and treats her with respect, then she will follow where he leads. It does not mean that a husbands word is law and that a wife must do as he dictates.

As usual, your churchy sounding "answer" as a Christian has nothing to do with the original question. Are you a robot ... ?
The original question here was about why people should get married using God's reasons, not how they should relate after they get married. Understand, Sweetheart ... ?
Re: What Are God's Reasons For 2 People Getting Married?
I'm only one person's sweetheart, and it sure isn't you, so keep your sarcastic snyde comments to yourself. If you want a discussion on the topic, then why don't you just throw the answer out there for discussion instead of insulting everyone who comes along that doesn't give you what you are looking for.
It seems based on this and your other posts that you obviously have an issue with women who aren't walking three steps behind their men staring at them in absolute adoration, so there really is no point in continuing a discussion with you because the fact I'm a woman makes any point or contribution I make mute to you.

My grandma used to say the same thing that a woman needs and looks for the man she can submitt to , but its going to take the right one for her .
