God, I hate war. I wish we'd stay out of other people's business more...

I like Biden too, GA. As a person, he's had an amazing life. I think it says a lot about someone to be in politics that long and never get caught in some kind of criminal behavior!

War is just bad news and should be avoided at all costs! I find that it would be unnecessary in these times, especially with the global economy, business, and technology. Do we really need to bomb other countries when China can just bankrupt us?

I thought both did well, but I like and can respect a person that tells the God honest truth, which McCain did, and you could tell he hit the nail on the head by Obama's big " you got me" smile.

I don't go for a person that tries to make other believe in lies.

You know like.. his lies are the turth and the truth is a lie.

Colin Powell just came out and endorsed Barack Obama. Can't wait until Nov. 4th!

Just curious, but what did you guys think of Bill Clinton's presidential era?

Bill Clinton did ok as President. I didn't appreicate him pointing his finger and lying to us. Like I said..I can appraiate someone that will do or at least try to do the things they promise us to get into the White House. One that doesn't hide things from us, and I'm sorry, but I feel that Obama is doing this too. I could be wrong. It looks like he will be the next President (has alot of money to compain), so we shall see what happens.

ALL politicians lie, it's just the nature of the job. It's kind of expected that they will be unable to deliver through on their promises.

I also feel that Obama will win. Every major newspaper and poll has Obama in the lead. I just want this country to get back on track.

I just want someone in there that will do the job and get the job done right. I can't stand anyone that does a half azz job, or makes a mess for the other one to clean up after.

Well, what's doing the job right mean to you? Does pulling our troops out of Iraq mean the right way to do things? Does providing government funded health care sound right to you? Legalizing abortion? Gun control? You get what I'm saying.

Can you answer these questions too? I can't kill a baby, and to me that is what they are doing. Do you know what they do to the baby (that is a baby) when they do this? Go on the internet and look on how they do this and what takes place. Also, the other side thinks that kids that are born with something wrong with them should not even be here. A bother to them and they don't want that. I feel if God placed them here (like he did us) then they have a right to be alive too. Look at how they talked about Palin and her last child. She knew something was wrong with the child, but she knew killing it is so wrong.
I don't think he should have gone over there (war), because no one really appreciates what you do for them. We should only go to war and fight when someone is attacking us. All that money could have stayed here to help the American people. He (Bush) is "OUR" President, not God. Now look what a mess we are in. People losing their homes and their peace of mind. Not good at all.
I don't agree with same sex marriage either. I believe in God. If God wanted us to marry the same sex, he would have made us one sex. God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. They want to be free to love who they want to, but what's next..we can marry or dogs? LOL

Ahhh good old political discussion...

Just for fun, Honey I am going to counter act your arguments.

1. Abortion, Helps keep population control, the people that do ahve a abortions just don't do so carefully, they have a very difficult decision, terminating a pregancy must be extremely tough mental decision and the feelings of remorse afterwards must be intense. One of the things that I find very disheartening that anyone that tells me they Oppose abortion, I simply ask them, What do they plan to do with the children? Do you know how many children we ahve in foster homes right now? how many NEED to be adopted, yet they are not. If every Anti-abortion person were to adopt 1 child, we would have zero children in foster care, yet they do not, why not? I would glady make abortion illegal if you could give every child a loving home, but that is not the case, which is more cruel? DO you see how many people are driving to Nebraska to dump their children off? even teenagers? it's very sad. (for the record me or my wife could never have an abortion, I feel sad for those who have done it, it must have been a very difficult and grueling decision)

2. Iraq War, George Bush, W's father, should ahve finished the job the first time, we invaded due to the attempt on his life and to control Oil in the middle east, this was a senseless invasion, mad a bad precedent, and opur nation for the very first time became the aggressors as opposed to the defenders. But we can't simply pull out, any country we have every been involved with, ew still have a presence in, except vietnam, we still have troops in Bosnia, Italy, Korea, Germany, Cuba, Philipines, etc. we do not leave, ever, we are the new roman empire, and our failure will be internal not external.

3. Same sex marriages, It should be up to the particular church to marry whom they want, when it comes to humans. I have no problem with Same sex marriages, why should they not have the pursuit of happiness like the rest of us? Whom am I to tell them that they cannot be married? The main reason they wish to get married is for Legal issues, not the grandor of love, But if Bill and Ted were a couple and Ted was seriously sick, Bill will not be able to make any legal decision for him, he is not family. Many other issues at hand. I also think they should have to go through the pain of divorce too. Personally I could really care if two ugly gay guys get married, let them have their happiness, doesn't effect me. I know Gay Guys, I know Lesbians, they are good people, and I ahven't caught any rashes from them yet.
