I feel more for the little kids, and feel pitty for the lady that should have known better. I don't care who you vote for, don't be mean to little kids that are too young to vote anyway. DUH !! They look forward to Halloween, getting candy, and having fun.
the kids learned a lesson...some people are mean...but that doesn't excuse the "adults"
that "redistribution" is provided for by the constitution.
Also in USSR and in any democratical states in Europe socialist or else.
it is still a redistribution of what you give in the first place.
And in fact in the french constitution free education is warranty by the constitution as well as free juridical representation and the dissotiation of state and church meaning religious stuff are not alowed in the classroom nor universites, as well as medical care and a home. If you are for some reasons without home or ill you should be provided for if you cant do so yourself for reason outside yoru will. Like if your home went on fire or if you suddendly lose your capacity to work.
Doesnt mean you are assisted at every tunr, far from that, but it warranty a minimum and grant a better stability.
When the idea of greater solidarity is in a society, thementality change too and most vital area work better. Like hospitals and firms. and plants. People know they can relay on each others, and the service there is very high, and not lower, and the professionalism and knowledge very high too.
Its also reassuring tio know that a doc dont give you a medication or a hospital dont give you a medication you dont need cause htey get more money by doing so and warranty you ot dont get operated for soemthing oyu dont need to.
If you ahve an handicaped child or someone in the family with a chronical deasease, uncurable, the state take over, unless you got good wages and iunless you are wealthy. of course.
If oyua re usul workers, they jsut cover allt he expenses. Its not yoru fault the child is sick and its not the childs fault and we are not going to let a kid live a life worse than it already is jsut cause his parents cant afford the medical bills. Its just unacceptable, unethical, and uncivilised. Therefor its covered.
If the state got enough money to finance a minister car and dinner á Le Ritz, then we also got enough to provide for the poor and those in need.
Food, Housing, medical care are the basic for all humans, then come education, jsutice and security (police army) then come research and industry. For a long time we had the post and electricity and telephone and train companies, owned by the state. It warrantied the lowest prices for electricity, gaz, telephone, mail, transportation and it was cool. he prices there like never rised. Since they have been sold to the private sextor the prices have racket lauched sky high. Thats the problem with liberalisme. There is some stuff that should be warranty as a base cause all need to can make food and to have electricity and all need public transportation and telephone. But still soem are partly state owned and most the cities own the busses companies and tramways, meaning that soem places fr 1 dollar oyu can travel in all the scity and form a bus to anotehr and also travel outside the city by bus in a 40 km range, for 24 hours and that same ticket pay for your car parking unillimitated time. menaign oyu come by car, parck your car outside the city in alarge parkign place with a guard, and get a ticket that you cna use in the station near by to go up in a tramway and travel like that very fast all over the city, and come back in the evening or th eday after to pick up opyur car, and the whole thing will ahve cost you 1 dollar. Thats the beauty of making a transport system that work for all, save teh city from pollution and too much trafic as well, is profitable, and cost almost nothing.
Anyway you also got social security in the US, so it is a mix of capitalism and socialism anyway. Pure capitalism means oyu only care for the money makers, for profit. socilaism means oyu care for the social. Put together gives a good balance htats how European countries work. Whatever system you chose or mix, what matters in a state is its degree of corruption in the industry and in the police in the justice system and in the governemental body and in the admisnitration itself.
Any corruption threaten the democratic base of a country.
In fact if there wasnt any corruption or 50 % less in the US or worldwide, the world will be pretty weird, i can tell you htat. We wont be able ot recognise it..

yeah its true. If i was the mum i will have go over their home and make them REAL SCARED!
Two wrongs don't make a right. What goes around..comes back around. I don't wish anything bad to happen to anyone, but if I did..oh what funny ones I could come up with. LOL

you could ring and offer free t-shirts or free drinks or invitation to a party, or soemhting nice and ask them whom they vote for and say, "oh no then you cant have it".
Adults are not better than kids in that area and they will know why.. and will be all oops.
And its not 2 wrongs. They started, thats the consequence of it. Its not the same. Soemone has to go over and tell them, what you did the other day to those kids is completely wrong.
And thats not doing soemthing wrong but something right.
this happened last year, My 8 year old son rang some ladies doorbell.
You see we go at nigth only, and here if your front porch light is on, then you ahve candy, if it's off skip the house.
So this lady had her light on, my kids rang the bell, lady answered the door, she had no candy and went on some religious rant, my son said, "lady, give us some candy Or I will egg your house, I know where you live! " LOL of course I said to my son something afterwards, but kudos for him for sticking up for Halloween and just having fun for kids.

for the record, he never egged the ladies house
Well, the dumb butt lady shouldn't of had her light on, and she goes off on your son. DUH ! Your son should of said if you were a bright lady, you should of known not to have your light on on Halloween night. Well, unless you just want to let everyone know that a real witch lives here. If she was smart and can write, why didn't the dumb butt lady write a note saying.. sorry, I don't have any candy. Have a nice time.
No, people really like to show others what a true azzhole they are or can be. I find this happening more around the Holidays too, which really sucks if you ask me.
Your son should of said ..do you practice being an azzhole towards other people, or does it come natural to you?
They say that Obama and Mc Cain are so close that something like the rain of the legth of the lines, can decide the vote! It will decide who will be president!.
Its going to be Mc Cain.
I'm off to vote in a few minutes...good with my decisions except one:
the lady who likes to give $ to the energy companies and doesn't care about the gas prices vs. the lady who wants to give Blagoiovich a raise and raise my taxes by 33%....hmmmmm....gotta love the negative campaigning
Some people are already making party for Obama or preparing to party for him like he had won.. even at a university here they are all meeting to party for him and invited a guy from the US to make a political speech, but .. that politician is a .. republican!
LOL they couldnt found an obama one to do the job.. too funny!
And there is a city in Japan who is happy for Obama and making a huge party in his name (or their own?) ehem that citys name is . Obama.. thats a harbor in Japan so thats why they like the guy.
well Obama won, so we will see what happens in the next 4 years. The last president that ahd this much controversy was JFK, made some great historical choices and you see what happened to him.
It will be interesting to see if Obama is a world changer or not.
Expectations are high for him, hopefully his team is up for the task.
JFK made war in Vietnam.. and wasnt at all what the myth made of him.. What Obama did in the past 15 years is also the opposite than what he said he wanted to do.. As senator he voted down things that he is promising now, and he voted for some of the most controversial laws from D. Cheney and Bush.. while Mc Cain voted against. So people are elected out of what they say and can make people uninformed people believe, and not what they do.
Thats sad.
People were also euphoric when Clinton was elected, i was one of them. But after 4 years he didnt have done anything of what he had promised, 8 years later it was the same. But nonetheless people kept talking to him and seing him, even today, as an icon of hope and dream and changes...who never took place. The same is about to happen with Barack Obama.
So once people got an idea, and utopia is mixed in the picture, you simply cant remove it no matter what that perosn actualy do.
People have dreams, they want to keep their dreams, and cling onto them, and nothing can make them give it up and recognise that its not at all what is going on and that the person they have in the eyes and mind got nothing to do with the person they have in front of them.
The very positiv is he is a black american, and what it mean for the million of black americans who have witnessed the apartheid-America, and those who still today live with racism and can feel it very closely.
Its beautifull for all the world and its beautifull to see how happy all black people could rejoice in seeing a black president finaly be president. But on the world map, from all the people saying its so good, i can tell you that most of them will not be so happy to see a black citizen become president in their own country
I think its good in that view, thats the change. And it will also mean a big difference with the dealings with Middleeast.
At the begining at least.
So I am happy for all the black americans, it was very touching to witness their happyness and be part of it, but i am sad that Mc Cain wasnt chosen, as what he do is more consistent with what he says, and with reality, than Obama is.
Lets see if he will be able to change that to the positiv when he will sit as president from january. And lets hope for the best.
