I really can't wait for this election to be over, I really think it has divided our country and there is fuel being thrown ont he fire, particularly by the republican party in my mind, Fox news in particular. I really do not like the Fear mongering.

the Ugly side of America has really come out.
Yeah, I can't wait until it is over too. Maybe now the little Demonbrats won't go into other people's yards to knock down their McCain signs. You don't see the republicans doing this to Obama signs. Also, saying we will riot if Obama doesn't win. UNREAL !!
yeah thats true! and think that Obama already spend 600 millions dollars on his campaign against Mc Cain already!
Thats scandalous! it never happeend before.
Mc Cain tried to pass a law as senator to stop that kind of things so that an election will not be based on money only and will not be so unfair for those who dont have that kind of money, but it was rejected.
When Bush was elected all democrates complained about the power of money.. you dont hear them even mentioning that big setail now, do we?
With the pass that guy have already, he dont deserve to be elected, and he wasnt born in the US either, he recognised that, but they say he cant be prosecuted before he is elected, because then it will be like prosecuting osemone before he committed the crime.. as the law say that "you cannot be elected president if you are not born in the USA".. so he will have first to be elected before they can prosecute him and then it will be too late. smart..
Mc Cain will be the next president of the United States! And a much better one!.
Even specialist in the press recognise that the whole thing was unequal in the press and that 4 times more articles were written about Obama than about Mc Cain, and 3 times more positive articles about Obama than about Mc Cain, and twice as bad stories about Mc Cain than about Obama, so thats really bad.
They question a lot the validity of the pres and say that instead to describe the reality, journalists are making it.
They even talk in the Times, of what "president Obama" will do in this and this are and what ministers "president" Obama will chose.. thats unreal.. its call brainwash.

I actually dont watch the news or anything. I read about it occasionally and hear about it but mostly i go to congress.org, opensecrets.org, newsmeat.com and other sites to see what bills they've passed, who is contributing to their campaign, etc.
I think all the stuff on tv and in mainstream media just puts a entertaining twist on it.
When voting and in line..don't wear anything that says who you are voting for and/or smears the other one running, and don't say who you are voting for if ask. There will be even more mean and rude people in line this time around. You can count on it.
It sounds like civil war is going on in the States. I never experienced it in France nor in Scandinavic countries.
People talk open about what parti they are in and whom they vote for without problems.
We dont go so much up in it either, like putting a poster of one of the guy in our backyard or his name.. lol, people will think its funny here, if someone did. Unless he had someone in his or her family running as candidate or sitting in the governement it will be seen as ridiculous. You vote for a parti and a parti political line, not for a person. Well thats still how we see it, even if here too, its getting more and more voting for a particular person, a face, like in the US..
LOL.. they don't put it in their backyard, hun, but I must say, McCain signs would be more safe in their backyard than their front yard. I can't say they (the people that do this type of thing) would be safe though. The owner might have big dogs waiting for them in the backyard.
yes i ment on the front yard. What they could do is put both, with Mc Cain bigger and higher, it will have a very good PR effect too..
What were you talking about about being safe? you mean those removing signs?
Baa those doing that are even more ridicoulous than those putting signs..to disagree is one thing, to actualy walk into someone lane and remove things who arent yours and dont concern you, is gross.
I would understand if it was racist stuff or porno stuff or something offending in anyway. But even there they will be a limit to what people can do or not in your own ground. I mean isnt America free and have privacy policy, and rights of proprerty?
What they do, go against the basic rights of americans, so they cannot claim after that being agaisnt Bush's shamefull reduction of people freedom and over control of people privacy, when they are doing worse..
They aint better.
And forget that Mc Cain voted twice against those decisions made by Bush, as chairman of the Senat, and that count.
Talking of scarry time.
What is the most scary thing that happened to you during halloween?
Someone ring at the door, and it was a guy selling Obama with papers and posters of him, trying to convince me to vote for him!
The worse part was that he knew my name and everything about me!
Where do they get those info from?
Whats next? Hacking into my computer?
Oh and i got another one, kids were done playing trick or treats, and look at what they go when they came back home, some of the sweets were of very poor quality.. so their dad said. "The bad **** must be from the Demonbrats, they like dishing out **** to us and saying it is good. LOL . " ..
Personally I think our country will be fine with who ever is elected president.
We have enough checks and balances to make sure our country does not go to far off the beaten path. Therey're fringe elements of both parties, to far left, to far right. with majority in the middle.
I really do not see the "socialism" that people are talking about.
You do realize the recent bailout of the banks is extremely "socialized" A true capitalist would let them fail.
I haven't seen anyone renounce Social security the most socialized part of our government Or the FDIC insured banks.
Smoke screens and mirrors is normal for the political propaganda, the fear of certain issues. It deplores me.
I do not think there will be any riots. I do think though If Obama is elected there will be an attempt on his life wit in the four years he is president. McCain if president would face a very a very angry congress and get nothing but garbage to pass which he will veto.
I really find some of these scare tatics pretty funny, a real stretch.
I like both McCain and Obama, I really feel fine with either one at the helm.
