Does / Contradict (go against)
Ephesians 4: 26 / Matthew 5: 42-47
Romans 5:4 / James 2: 10-27
Romans 4:5 / James 2: 10-27
John 3: 16 / Hebrews 10: 26 |
I don't see any contradictions..
ephesian/ matthew - the anger is directed at the act of lying.. that it exists..the wrath spoke of is to the abolishment of lying.. not the person... (matthew)... still love the person no matter the transgression.. for no one is sinless.
Roman/James - all works are to the glory of God and God alone. Whether he who is able or not able to work, faith MUST be present. (james) It all speaks of motive... Abraham did not give up his son to God for his own motive.. but all for His glory... works COMPLIMENT faith... not prove faith. God accepts all who have faith... works come second... (ie Gods love exists for all.. strong and able, weak and feeble)
John/Hebrews - God gave of himself, his son, Christ to bring His word to the world of men... all that believe in Christs deliverance of His Word shall enter the kingdom of heaven. (hebrews)... you sin without asking for forgiveness of God and repent, tramples the sacrifice of Christ underfoot.. hence no entry to Heaven.
hopes this helps...
God bless!
