We'll see how that goes the fewer and fewer boilermakers are out there. How long will the Software Developer work in the building with no heat?

What industry has the greatest projected shortage of people? I will give you a hint....we keep your buildings and bridges from falling down.

But anyway...we were talking about unskilled....remember...how many Software Developers will make that 100K unskilled? I hire guys to work on our computer gear frequently...they underbid each other like crazy...to make 10-15 an hour....while my broom pushers are doing pretty well....My broom pushers buy houses.....one of the Software Guys I hired...I actually met...because he rents a place from my tool crib person. To hear her talk about it....they guy can seem to make a damn thing..

You'd be surprised, as long as the coffee pot still works.

Not sure what an unskilled software developer means. In this industry, you either have a college degree or you basically don't work. You can't even get in the front door without one.

Regardless of the outcome, America is still one of the greatest democracies in the world. People may not like the outcome but in the true spirit of democracy and nationhood, they will come together, accepting the outcome and work together. This is what democracy is all about and it is a lesson to many other countries in the world, where voting is rigged, voting outcomes result in violence, etc.

Software developers don't "work on computer gear". Simply put... they code.

And onshoring will increase the demand for boilermakers and bricklayers?

This election said one thing. America is FED UP with Washington. We're kicking out the politicians who made this mess and ushering in a man on a mission.

The Donald will talk to the people, let them know he isn't bought by anyone, and he's going to Make America Great Again! If politicians create roadblocks, Trump will personally take the message to their city and get them voted out.

I can't wait to see what happens in the next 2 years!

I hope they get rid of Obama Care first thing. They are already talking about it today.

Then America did a really, really poor job of sending the message, what with returning nearly every other incumbent on the ballot back to Washington.

The guy at the top is just the tippy tip of the iceberg.

Make no mistake. It is going away. The new "plan" is no plan. Costs will keep going up. Hourly workers will be uninsured. The working poor will get sicker and stay poor.

Bad for small business, too. $10/hr with mom and pop and no insurance or $10/hr inside a corp with insurance. Easy decision.

Yes. America will be great again. Trump is the only one who can fix it. All the talking points spoken by a voter who claims he's fed up with the establishment's talking points. Now he spouts the other man's talking points. Pattern is repeated; nothing is learned; nothing changes. People stay angry and disappointed.

Except he didn't get more votes than Hillary, and virtually every establishment incumbent on both sides of the aisle were reelected. There was historically low numbers of incumbents overturned in this election...hardly a referendum for any kind of change at all.
