Trump... wins because of hate

Traditionally the Christian would never vote for a candidate who is for abortion and planned parenthood. This is such a trigger point for Christians. But let's be honest, trump is a closet democrats. (I have no problem with trump by the way, I look forward to what he will do for our country. I do have a problem with the growing hate in this country and it scares me.) Trump has been the complete opposite of what a Christian believes in... so much to the point that the pope even spoke out against him. That is HUGE. Yet he won the Bible Belt voters. Why?? Because they are united in hate. Their hate for immigration, their hate for muslims. It blows my mind and deeply saddens me. No one projected such a victorious win for trump, why? Because he had secret voters, and so much of our country is closet racists.

I consider this hate mongering.

He won because the american people voted for him. He received a higher percentage of votes
from blacks and latinos than previous elections. Heck...the latino vote spike gave him Florida.
People are so tired of the racist, bigot, name calling. Every election the conservative candidate is a racist.
Hell....HRC was called a racist when she ran against Obama.

Libs have used the little boy who cried wolf too many times and now we are desensitized.
Look up the actual definition of the word bigot.

Re: Trump... wins because of hate

hate has nothing to do with it. He won because too many people think HRC is criminal, the policies of BO are not popular and the economy is really in the dumper.

As usual, you think that closing the border is hate of muslims. What it really is ,is enforcement of our laws. Trump is not anti immigration, just illegal immigration and thinks that we need to vet who we let in. None of that is hate.

It's amazing that you know the single motivation behind the actions of millions of people across 20 states, and that you can with your magic powers, look into their minds to tell us they are indeed evil, and that the only thing uniting them is hate.

Tell me, since you are apparently psychic, what motivated the people of Britain in Brexit? What motivated the people of Venezuela in their last elections?

You are projecting, and it's showing.

People voted for him because they wanted change. I agree. But you can't deny that there is another group of people that voted for him because they are racists. That's why the KKK and many hate groups support him.

He won because he got the most votes. Of course. I don't hate trump. But I think he incites hate in people that is already there. And that is what I don't like.

So all those that went against BO were racists, per BO/Dems, and that is not inciting hate?

That's a pretty big shift, switching from "the Xtians who supported him did so because they are full of hate" to "there are racists who support him".

I think we should stick to your original argument, before we shift to a different topic altogether. Defend your position mind-reader. Tell me more about your magical power of reading the minds of those who believe Jesus is their God. Is your mind-reading limited only to all Xtians, or is it universal? Can you tell me what I'm thinking, and why I voted for Trump? Can you tell me what my neighbor was thinking, and why he did?

Not just your country, and it took alot of folks long enough to figure it out. At least now you and everyone else of all backgrounds can see the truth.

I guess I'm fortunate to be in a country where it's not a focal point to the rest of the world, where I watch and entertain myself with the problems of the rest of the world. But let me tell you something, I live in a city where it in many ways its already a white nationalist's worst nightmare, where they have no choice BUT to treat other human beings as humans, many of them feeling robbed of their white privilege and becoming minorities in "their own country", risking beat downs if they ever spoke out, pushed to remain silent out of political correctness, afraid of voicing their fears. Like the silent treatments I endured during my past marriage, I had enough of the tension. The political correctness that serves nothing but push things underground, manifesting a darker, more sinister evil than the honest enemy right in your face.

I also find it quite ironic the huge spike in college educated voters that Trump got.

You know because usually us white men from alabama are all uneducated racists watching nascar
drinking a mountain dew smoking a winston kkk members who beat our wives.

The rhetoric is so played out.

A lot of sour grapes because this wasn't supposed to happen like this.

Everyone got this one wrong. IMO it was for the most part the overall public giving the bird to the current establishment on both sides.

Re: Trump... wins because of hate

I don't think elections can be simplified to single issues. There are over a hundred million voters, each with a set of issues that matter to them.

Economy, social issues, foreign policy, immigration, fear, suspicion of one candidate or the other, protest votes, etc etc.

Some voters may not even fully understand their own reasons for voting. The just "like" one candidate more than the other.

Some voters have issues that are important to them, but end up voting for the "wrong" candidate because they don't actually understand those issues.

Racism, sexism, elitism, etc all mattered to some voters, but its difficult to know how many.

This is a compelling argument against political correctness. Without PC, we at least know who the racists truly are.

Regardless of the results of the election, in which you are correct - that they are way more factors than just hate, OP has brought up the issue of what has been previously considered "politically incorrect hate-speech" to become something that is socially accepted especially when represented by a powerful figure. This opens the way for perhaps even more hate sure but anything is better than the "politically correct" culture imposed in the western world during the 21st century living in complete denial of the reality of 20th century issues continuing to persist.
