Re: Safe Space for those who are hurting after Election Day
They've never learned to lose graciously, or at the very least, to accept the result like adults. Now they want to move the goal post. They don't respect the process. They can throw a punch as the bully but instantly turns victim to decry disproportionate use of force.
They're emotionally immature who are not above violent protests, blocking freeways, and beating people/pets up to express their rage. Their parents never gave them that swat on the butt when they misbehaved when they were young, and now, it's too late.
They have completely immersed themselves in identity politics. Whether it be race, gender, or class; to be on the receiving end of their attacks can mean losing one's job and livelihood, as well as receiving death threats. Paula Deen said the n word some thirty or forty years ago, and they labeled her a racist. She ended up having to grovel at the altar of political correctness for forgiveness from the arbiters of what constitutes racism. She lost much of her media empire over it. One of Trump's daughters has received many death threats after the election. Some fashion designer who made gowns for Michelle Obama has refused to do the same for Melania Trump (even though Melania Trump has not asked).
It doesn't help that we have the online lynch mob who are ever ready to destroy anyone they dislike.
They lack the self-awareness to look in the mirror to identify their faults. It's always someone else's fault. They only see the log in their neighbor's eyes. Both sides do this, but the left are guilty of it more than the right. How many protests took place when Obama won in 2008? They failed to learn about personal responsibility and accountability.
They are easily led astray. The Dems use so many A list celebrities to sway the masses. They also have the vast majority of the media toeing the party line. They hear something from the media and take it as gospel. It's amazing how many still think that Governor Sarah Palin said she could see Russia from her house. That line was from SNL's Tina Fey. If some satirical website writes up some article about how Palin did this dumb thing, they'd pass it around as facts.
They are more emotionally driven and very reactionary.
