Re: No, this is NOT from the Onion!
There is some very real mental illness on display from some Hillary supporters. Not all, and not even most Hillary supporters. But there certainly is a fringe group which has lost their minds over this election.
I saw one diatribe yesterday that we need to have a do-over on the election. Apparently the burden of proof should be on Trump to show that the Russians did not alter the outcome of the election, and barring Trump showing that proof then the election is de-facto illegitimate. I'm trying to follow the logic there, where factual information in the form of DNC and Hillary emails swayed voters, but because of the alleged (but not likely) source of the information being Russian hackers passing it on to Wikileaks, those lawful votes should in fact be voided.
There's no allegation of fraudulent votes being cast en masse by or due to the Russians. But the outcome was not as desired so we need a do-over.
Then there is all the anguish over Hillary having more votes than Trump. Well that wasn't the game from the very beginning. The game was Electoral Votes, and that is what all the candidates fought for. The popular vote is irrelevant. Had they sought the most popular votes the campaigns and election would have been very different, with no way to say now what the vote totals would have been.
These people just cannot accept their side lost. They can't see why their side lost. They are so blinded by their ideology and, perhaps, the propaganda they've been fed they cannot understand why anyone would vote for Trump or against Hillary.
Insanity is on parade all over social media and in the leftist mainstream media.
