Re: No, this is NOT from the Onion!

There is some very real mental illness on display from some Hillary supporters. Not all, and not even most Hillary supporters. But there certainly is a fringe group which has lost their minds over this election.

I saw one diatribe yesterday that we need to have a do-over on the election. Apparently the burden of proof should be on Trump to show that the Russians did not alter the outcome of the election, and barring Trump showing that proof then the election is de-facto illegitimate. I'm trying to follow the logic there, where factual information in the form of DNC and Hillary emails swayed voters, but because of the alleged (but not likely) source of the information being Russian hackers passing it on to Wikileaks, those lawful votes should in fact be voided.

There's no allegation of fraudulent votes being cast en masse by or due to the Russians. But the outcome was not as desired so we need a do-over.

Then there is all the anguish over Hillary having more votes than Trump. Well that wasn't the game from the very beginning. The game was Electoral Votes, and that is what all the candidates fought for. The popular vote is irrelevant. Had they sought the most popular votes the campaigns and election would have been very different, with no way to say now what the vote totals would have been.

These people just cannot accept their side lost. They can't see why their side lost. They are so blinded by their ideology and, perhaps, the propaganda they've been fed they cannot understand why anyone would vote for Trump or against Hillary.

Insanity is on parade all over social media and in the leftist mainstream media.

I'm not sure that insanity from the left or the right is ever a good thing though you may enjoy gloating for a while. It's never a good thing for the country when a large number of people are disconnected from reality, whether it's birthers or election deniers.

I'm all for a do-over so we can watch Hilary lose again.

Do you hear the people sing / Lost in the valley of the night?
It is the music of a people / Who are climbing to the light.
For the wretched of the earth / There is a flame that never dies.
Even the darkest night will end / And the sun will rise...

Meh, no emotional display in the concession speech... No tears, promises, mea culpa...

I would give serious money to see the situation reversed tho, Trump winning popular vote by 2-3M and losing the electoral college vote for some funny tweets.

Trump appointments are more than making up the comic relief at least.

Yes, but her cultists provided all the tears necessary to open a couple of brand new salt mines. And all the comedy a man could hope for. I expected no mea culpa, because the Left isn't capable of that in the US at the current moment.

Definitely would have been interesting to see Trump win the Popular Vote, but lose the EC. Suits for recounts in tons of states...

Me, I'm enjoying watching the legacy media go bonkers, while the snowflakes continue to freakout as we close in on their "Safe Spaces" and the Feminists start echoing the old white supremacist cries of "Race Traitor". Oh, the irony!

Indeed, but the madness was already there. The election just forced it to boil over. Which, I would say is good, because we can now try to address it, whereas before the election, it was verboten to call the crazies on the left out for their madness and bigotry.

If we had allowed it to continue to hide in plain sight, so to speak, it would have only gotten worse, IMO.

The boiling over has brought out their true character, which is suppression of freedom and tyranny of the elite left. They've been increasingly able to suppress free speech and to force others to comply with their socialist schemes at the point of government guns. Now they are seeing the pendulum swing the other direction, so they call for killing opposition speech with this new mantra of fake news and alt right, and they call for overthrowing the lawful election of Trump using force of government.

Rule of law has meant nothing to the left for a long time, but they love to use force under color of law to get their desired outcome. And now they're panicking and openly calling for lawless remedies to the election.

Brrrrrahahahaha. At least this election has provided a lot of laughs. And it'll get quite funny when Drumpf starts fighting with the GOP house and GOP senate. It's easy to piss all over everyone else's ideas but a bit harder to actually lead,
