^ my reaction after reading the article

Even if I don't get likes for it, I'm still going to say it.

Re: No, this is NOT from the Onion!

I feel like this was covered in another thread....

Or maybe I'm confusing my surfing over at r/the_donald with TAM...

Either way, this article was hilarious. Think about how she must be emotionally abusing her children!

Do you hear the people sing / Lost in the valley of the night?
It is the music of a people / Who are climbing to the light.
For the wretched of the earth / There is a flame that never dies.
Even the darkest night will end / And the sun will rise...

Lol, what a turd

Just tell any guy that wants to date her to make sure he wears a safety pin on his shirt so she knows he will provide a safe place for her.

Agreed. This one was particularly good:

Re: No, this is NOT from the Onion!

Makes perfect sense to me. I suspect America will slowly depopulate as the Trump-effect takes hold and everyone loses interest in dating and mating.

On a positive note, all of the TAM threads about sexless marriages will become dormant and those people will become happy in their marriages (or at least miserable together).

And no more coping with infidelity threads, because, well, no one will be able to raise the flagpole.

I don't think the article was funny at all. It's just shocking how incredibly stupid some people are. The world's not going end because Trump will be the President.

As a non American, I am trying to understand what the issue is here?
She doesn't want a boyfriend because of a new President?
Makes no sense to me.
Seems like an attention seeking article.

Let me break it down - Trump is anti-American in 50% of the country's eyes. He represents - and literally says - a reversal of hard fought progress on many social fronts. He says anti-women things - like groping women because he's in a position of power and going into women's dressing rooms where girls as young as 15 are changing because he can. He says he'll ban all Muslims from the country and deport millions of people.

These are things he has said he'll do and therefore the more emotional people believe our entire value system and their future is at stake.

Me - I KNOW he's just a narcissistic, self-promoting salesman who will say anything to get attention. I don't believe he actually wanted to get elected at first. And I don't think he has ANY political agenda in spite of the knee jerk comments he makes. He has liberal, moderate and conservative views that fluctuate depending on the audience and his mood.

Ultimately, as a narcissist, he'll want to be beloved, and will find himself between a rock and a hard place when he sees "friends" and business people of all sorts on all sides of all issues. And for that reason I see him placating everyone and therefore being moderate - like all recent presidents. Plus some crazy antics and random decisions that keep people amused, worried or pleased depending on who wins.

Love this comment:
