Controversial program for heroin addiction

B.C. clinic's free heroin enables addicts to 'have a meaningful life again,' co-ordinator says - Canada - CBC News

One of the deepest feminine pleasures is when a man stands full, present, and unreactive in the midst of his woman's emotional storms. When he stays present with her, and loves her through the layers of wildness and closure, then she feels his trustability, and she can relax. -- David Deida, The Way of the Superior Man

Re: Controversial program for heroin addiction

I'm opened minded enough to say good. Heroin is a beast of an addiction. Thanks, I need to read more about it.

I think needle clinics are a good idea mainly because of the threat of AIDS prevention and other contagious diseases spreading, especially dangerous for police officers without the proper gloves.
Still waiting on legislation here in Dublin, it's a terrible issue that is like a plague on the city, so many homeless people from it on the streets.

Free needle clinics where they hand them out and also collect them back are not a new concept for Canada. Been around for awhile now.

I think they should stick to methadone treatment or Suboxone treatment clinics and not actually hand out a class C illicit drug. That's going backwards quite frankly.

I wonder what they'd do to treat sex addicts?
